I wanted to thank you and your extremely capable service crew for the recent

replacement of my original HVAC system and installation of a new, York high-efficiency

split system.

Not only was the installation professionally completed exactly as it was promised but the

entire process of dealing with everyone at Marken Mechanical has been a refreshing

experience.

As anyone who is considering a major home repair should do, I contacted several HVAC

companies in the area to provide me with an estimate. Some of these were the same

companies who advertise routinely in the local paper. Our needs for a new unit were

clearly defined; reliable brand name, a system that qualified for Federal Tax Credit and

SRP Rebate, as well as options for improving air quality.

After receiving several estimates many of which did not meet our criteria, we contacted

Marken Mechanical who had serviced our old system on two previous occasions.

Your quote was well laid out, fully documenting the work that would be completed and

how the recommended system would meet all of our stated needs. We proceeded with the

installation and knew immediately we had selected the best contractor possible. We could

not be happier with the system and how your service crew performed on the extremely

warm day the system was installed.

I hope all of your future clients will read this letter of recommendation and consider

Marken Mechanical whenever they have service requirements or are considering a bigger

project such as we did in replacing our entire HVAC system.

	Message:		This is to make available, to anyone who wishes to read, the appreciation I have for Marken Mechanical. I was without air conditioning. Arizona in the summer. A frightful time for anyone, but certainly for a senior. My York air conditioner is only two years old. It was purchased through a company called Hendel's who also sold me a 10/10/10 warranty for the unit. This is a ten year warranty at a cost of nearly seven hundred dollars. Like most people would, I called the company who sold me my unit and warranty. They came out and I was presented a bill for $86 service fee, (an incorrect charge which was not paid because of the above warranty) with a diagnosis of the problem as a burnt out electronic board. I was told they would order the part and it would arrive the next day. Instead, the next day I was told that the part was somehow lost. I was then told by the service manager that "I was on my own....it was out of his hands". By this time, I had been without air conditioning for 48 hours. I called Marken Mechanical, and what a difference in professionalism and just plain kindness. Immediately, they took on the problem. Ordered the part and came out to get me cooled. More problems were discovered with the unit, and again, Marken has taken care to service both me and the manufacturer they represent. I was not even his customer before......but he has cared for me and my needs in the way people want to be treated. I am very grateful for this company. I am very sure York Manufacturing will be as well because of the fine representation Marken has done for them. Thank you, Maxine Poulton
